Fresh Mexican ingredients and cooking

Our Story

El Fuego Taquería started with a simple dream and Abuela Rosa's handwritten recipe book. In 2018, siblings Maria and Carlos Gutierrez converted a vintage truck into a mobile kitchen, determined to share the flavors they grew up with on the streets of Oaxaca.

Every dish we serve is made from scratch using Abuela's original recipes, sourced with the freshest local ingredients and authentic imported spices. From our slow-roasted al pastor to our hand-rolled churros, each bite tells the story of three generations of Mexican home cooking.

What began as a weekend side project at the local farmers' market has grown into one of the city's most beloved food trucks. But our mission remains the same: serve honest, delicious food made with love—just like Abuela would.

"Those churros are absolutely addictive. I drive 30 minutes every Saturday just to get them at the farmers' market. The horchata is the real deal too. Authentic flavors you can't find anywhere else."
