🎨
1. Branding & Identity
6 items
Decide on your business name Required
Make sure it's unique, memorable, and easy to spell. Check social handles are available.
Choose your primary brand colors Required
Pick 2–3 colors that reflect your food's personality. Dark + accent color works well for food sites.
Select your font pairing Required
Use a bold display font for headlines (Anton, Bebas Neue, Playfair Display) and a clean body font (Roboto, Inter, Open Sans).
Have a logo ready (PNG with transparent background) Optional
Not required for launch — you can use your business name as a text logo. HungryPages offers logo design as an add-on.
Write a 1–2 sentence tagline Required
Example: "Flame-kissed smash burgers with bold, fire-driven flavor." Make it vivid and specific to your food.
Write your "Our Story" paragraph Required
3–4 sentences about how you started, why you love what you do, and what makes your food special.
🍔
2. Menu Setup
7 items
List all menu items with names and prices Required
Include 6–12 items max for your website. Too many options overwhelm customers.
Organize items into categories Required
Examples: Burgers, Tacos, Sides, Drinks, Desserts. Customers filter by category on your site.
Have at least 1 food photo per menu item Pro
Natural light photos work great. Use your phone! Shoot from above or at a 45° angle on a clean surface.
Note any dietary options (vegan, GF, nut-free) Optional
Calling these out increases orders from customers with dietary restrictions.
Write a 1-line description for your top 3–5 items Pro
Example: "Two smashed patties, American cheese, caramelized onions, and our secret sauce on a brioche bun."
Decide on a hero/signature item to feature Required
Your best-selling or most photogenic item goes in the hero section. It's the first thing customers see.
Have a hero background image ready Required
A close-up food photo or your truck in action. Minimum 1920×1080px. Can be swapped anytime.
📍
3. Location & Hours
5 items
Write out your weekly schedule Required
Day, location/address, and hours for each day you operate. Use "Closed" or "OFF" for days you don't run.
List your regular/recurring spots with cross-street or landmark Required
Be specific — "Oak & 3rd" is more useful than "Downtown." Customers need to find you fast.
Decide how you'll communicate schedule changes Required
Instagram posts, Google Business updates, or the HungryPages Route & Schedule app are popular options.
Have photos of your truck at your main location Optional
A photo of your truck open and serving at your spot helps customers recognize it when they arrive.
Note any event locations coming up Optional
Farmers markets, festivals, corporate events — list these in your schedule section for extra foot traffic.
📱
4. Contact Info & Social Media
6 items
Set up a business email address Required
Ideally: hello@yourbusiness.com or info@yourbusiness.com — looks more professional than a Gmail.
Set up a separate catering inquiry email Optional
catering@yourbusiness.com helps you keep event requests organized and separate from general messages.
Have a business phone number ready Optional
A Google Voice number is free and keeps your personal number private.
Create or confirm your Instagram handle Required
Instagram is the #1 discovery platform for food trucks. Your handle goes in the footer and FAQ.
Create or confirm your Facebook / TikTok pages Optional
TikTok videos of cooking processes and food reveals get massive organic reach for food businesses.
Set up Google Business Profile Pro
Free Google listing that shows your hours, location, reviews, and photos in Maps. Drives huge organic traffic.
🔍
5. SEO Basics
6 items
Write your page title (60 characters max) Required
Example: "SolFlame Burgers — Flame-Kissed Smash Burgers | Austin, TX" — include your city for local SEO.
Write your meta description (155 characters max) Required
This is the snippet shown in Google search results. Include your food type, city, and a call to action.
Include your city/neighborhood name in your page content Pro
Google uses this for "food trucks near me" searches. Mention your city in the hero, about, and footer sections.
Add alt text to all images Pro
Example: alt="SolFlame Burgers flame stack double cheeseburger Austin TX". HungryPages handles this for you during setup.
Compress images before uploading Pro
Use tinypng.com or squoosh.app. Large images slow your site down — Google penalizes slow sites in rankings.
Verify site is mobile-responsive Required
Over 80% of food truck searches happen on mobile. HungryPages templates are fully mobile-responsive by default.

6. Catering Setup
5 items
Decide if you offer catering Required
Even if you're not ready yet, set up the section — it signals professionalism and attracts event inquiries.
Set your minimum guest count and service radius Optional
Helps filter out bookings that aren't a fit. Common minimums: 25–50 guests, 30-mile radius.
Create a catering inquiry email or form Required
The "Get a Quote" button on your site should link to your catering email. The HungryPages Catering Booking app automates this.
List your catering packages or pricing range Pro
Showing price ranges (e.g. "$15–$40/person") reduces back-and-forth emails and attracts serious inquiries.
Have a catering photo for the website section Optional
A photo of your truck serving a crowd or a close-up of a spread works great for the catering section.
7. Reviews & Social Proof
4 items
Collect 3–5 customer reviews for your website Required
Ask your best regulars via text or DM. Even new businesses can gather reviews from friends/family who've tried your food.
Set up a Google Business review link Pro
Send this link to happy customers after service. Google reviews are the #1 trust signal for local food businesses.
Add a Yelp or TripAdvisor listing Optional
Yelp drives significant walk-in traffic for food trucks, especially in urban markets.
Have a plan to ask for reviews after service Pro
A simple card, sticker, or Instagram story prompt asking happy customers to leave a review can 10x your review volume.
🚀
8. Final Go-Live Checks
8 items
Proofread all text on the site Required

Free tool that shows you how many people visit, where they come from, and what pages they view. Takes 5 minutes to set up.
Share your site URL with 10 friends or regulars Required
Get real feedback before your full launch. Ask: "Is anything confusing? Did you find our hours easily?"
